Bulidings and architecture

I love architecture and try to find angles instead of your "right-on" shots. To me, this makes them more interesting. This building is in Liverpool.

Me

I'm Anna. A 43 year-old Swede living in the UK since thirteen and a half years. I enjoy it here (or I wouldn't have stayed) but don't ask me why; it's a feeling. I feel like this is now home. I laugh more here than I do "over there". The English are a funny and friendly lot and that I like. Especially the friendly part. Yes, there are sour grapes everywhere but I have met fewer on the British Isles than I have elsewhere.

Sweden is better to look at though; it's visually stunning. There is more greenery, more untouched landscape and it's much cleaner. This doesn't necessarily make for better photography. It completely depends what your "bag" is. Personally; I like documentary photography, portraits and black and white imagery. And the English (and British) landscape suits that fine.

I also find the (British) English very intriguing. I first came across it as a nine year-old in school and was quickly smitten with it. Again, don't ask me why. I still find it that way and I learn every day. Although I am now completely bilingual. I even sport a complete northern English accent (Pottery mixed with north Lincolnshire).

To be continued.

Nature

Sunsets. Nature at its best. I have spent many hours trying to find the "perfect" sunset only to figure out that there is no such thing. They're all unique. They are all magnificent.

Alice

Get used to Alice. She's certainly gotten used to me (and my camera/mobile phone). She's quite photogenic. I would say that though.
